PETER F. DWYER, Esq., earned his Bachelor’s degree from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, majoring in Business and Government. Mr. Dwyer earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and an M.B.A. degree from Baruch College.  In New York he founded the law firm Colombini & Dwyer in 1997 and was also President, founder of and a Licensed Real Estate Broker with Universal Realty Services, Inc. d/b/a Cutting Edge Realty Services Company.

           Mr. Dwyer’s practice focuses primarily on wills, trusts and estate planning and commercial and residential real estate transactions and also includes work on the sale and purchase of businesses, foreclosures, filing and collecting of mechanics liens and representation of condominium associations. In North Carolina, prior to starting The Fitzgerald Dwyer Law Firm, P.C., Mr. Dwyer specialized in complex commercial real estate transactions at the firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP.

          Mr. Dwyer is a member of the New York and North Carolina State Bars and admitted to practice in the both the Eastern and Southern District Courts in New York.

          Mr. Dwyer is also a member of The North Carolina Bar Association, The Business Leaders of Charlotte (“BLOC”) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Union County Chamber of Commerce.

          Married with four children, Mr. Dwyer is a Masters swimmer and nationally licensed youth soccer coach currently coaching the boys U10 team in Weddington, North Carolina.
